Do you make all of this stuff?
Yes, we do. We hand-craft and hand-make all of our products. We have a separate 'handmade policy' which can be found in our main menu should you have any other concerns about these products.
Do you source your wood sustainably?
Yes, we do. We collect driftwood from various tide lines, and we only utilise hardwood that is either gifted to us or comes from a fallen tree on private property.
Why aren't there more products online?
There are many reasons as to why we have a limited selection of things online but here are a few...
- We live off-grid in tropical Far North Queensland and have many factors that can play a part at any given moment
- We are only a two person operation and we have other part/full time work that we must make time for
- FNQ is renowned for its unpredictable weather which can cause expected or unexpected power and connectivity issues, which can then lead to expected or unexpected water issues (meaning we have to be the ones to try and fix the problem, it's not as simple as phoning someone else to rectify issues)
- The jungle and its inhabitants can create car troubles, which can lead to supply/distribution issues... the list can go on.
Just know that we do everything and anything we need to do to keep our business operational, however sometimes we accept our limitations and know when to listen to the messages from the universe telling us to slow down. We endeavour to update our website as frequently and sufficiently as possible.
Can your incense holders catch fire?
Any product made out of wood has the potential to catch fire, however, we have never had one of our products go up in flames. We stress-test our incense and candle holders, and as previously confirmed, we've never had to throw a bucket of water at one. Most large scale manufacturers of incense and candle holders will warn users of the risk of items catching fire and therefore we must do the same. Always use these products with caution, always use your common sense, and never leave incense or candles unattended.
Do you ship to Europe, Asia and the US?
We do ship internationally but should any products get rejected by customs then we will refund the cost of the product. Please bear with us as we iron out and update our dispatch/shipping policies and settings.
