Handmade Disclaimer

All of our products at Tribe and Temple are individually handmade and/or handcrafted and are NOT factory manufactured. The product(s) you receive may vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of our product(s) being 100% handcrafted and/or handmade, some being made to order. All of our product(s) are handcrafted one piece at a time, making it infrequent to create identical items. As with all and any new product purchased, if any adverse reaction occurs from the material(s), use should be discontinued immediately.


Product Variation:

  • Despite our thorough checks prior to dispatch, there can be inconsistencies with some products. Due to the creative nature of our work, each item can look a little different from the next, however this is what makes handcrafted work unique.
  • Any item you purchase is one of a kind. There are no two items in our shop that are precisely the same. Materials can differ from piece to piece depending on what we have available and what would be best suited for production.
  • All of our products are made with love, care and intention, regardless of whether the product(s) is made to order or pre-made.
  • We live off-grid and have certain limitations to what kind of tools we use and how much power we can consume. Although we are aware that the market boasts a wealth of options in regards to tools and equipment, we utilise and make do with what we have access to and what we can afford. In light of this, some of our products will again differ from one to the next based on the process we had to adapt to at time of making. 

When you buy something unique and handmade you also purchase a small piece of the artist who made it - a part of their character - and this is why many people like the idea of something handmade or handcrafted in their home. We pride ourselves on the unique nature of each and every product we sell, as well as the desirability that goes with the knowledge that you are purchasing a one-of-kind item. If you want something designed for made for you, please don't hesitate to contact us. If we cannot fulfil your request we will simply tell you and/or offer something we can do.
